One of the ways Pastor Randy (see church page) applies this story is through what
he calls Faith Promise.
For example, I could say, "God, I don't have $5.00 extra this month, but if YOU
give me $5.00 extra, I'll give it back to you for missions."
I decided to take Pastor Randy up on this challenge and guess what? God did it!
Is that cool or what??
It amazed me so much, I decided to do it again this month, this time making two
"faith promises." God has already given me the extra money to fulfill both of those promises. Cool!
So, you say, "I'm just a kid. What can I do?"
Remember first, it's not what I can do or you can do, it's what
God can do. Remember the story of the boy who shared his lunch, and God used it to feed over 5000 people?
God can do a lot with what we see as a little. God could do a lot with your
"faith promise" of 50 cents.
For that matter, God can do a lot with anything we offer back to Him.
Our heart to love Him. Our hands to serve Him. Our feet to go where He leads.
Pray about it. Then make your own "faith promise."
